here's the scoopone. I wnet to chicago. It was beautiful. I belong in the city. I do. I saw so many things that I can't possibly recap them all.
here's a few.
I saw Jason Isaac's ACTUAL LUCIUS PIMP CANE && took a picture. wasn't SUPPOSED to. But DAMN. PIMP CANE. OKAY.
I also saw THE snape outfit.
and pretty much every hp outfit from the movie ever. coolest exhibit.
two. I went to another few museums. saw sue the t rex. badass. biggest and most complete t rex ever found. saw the bodies of those two man eating lions that ate 140 men in like 1890. saw mummies. saw american gothic. saw a billion other impressionist paintings. was in awe.
saw homeless children sleeping on the street.
was shocked.
cried about it in the middle of TGI friday's
lol'd at myself for crying
gave several mothers my money for their kids
was hassled by homeless men because I gave the women money but not them.
Dammit. of course I gave it to the woman with a five year old girl in her arms.
Realized that there is much that I don't- and can't- understand about the world
watched my little sister step in some guy's pee in the subway
was disgusted
hated the city
helped her
realized that I didn't hate the city
took pictures of the dark knight filming sites
yeah it was cool
lost my sketchbook
bawled
was depressed
stopped drawing
went back to omaha
still didn't draw
sulked
met up with friends
ate yummy stuff
bought a new sketchbook
it wasn't the same
it was empty
I had placed at least 100hrs of worked into that book
oh
god
anyways school starts soon
I contacted a couple more colleges
bought school supplies
toured my school
damn it's big
and twisty
and scary
but I'm so excited
so i guess I moved on
and I'll draw more I guess
and stop worrying about how my art looks
and focus on how it feels
does that make sense? no?
